Kmg Petrochem Oil Refinery, LLP's primary production assets are located in the Far North region of Astana, an area rich in mineral reserves yet environmentally sensitive. Recognizing the ecological importance of this area, the Company places significant emphasis on environmental stewardship in all its operations. Furthermore, a core priority is industrial safety, with the primary goal of preventing or minimizing the impact of accidents and incidents at the refinery's hazardous production facilities. This commitment to industrial safety is maintained through robust production control measures.
Since 2022, Kmg Petrochem oil Refinery, LLP has provided support to the Business and Biodiversity initiative of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Nature and Ecology as part of the state project Biodiversity Preservation and Ecotourism Development of the Ecology national project. The agreement between the Ministry and the company was based on the Plan of Priority Measures for the Preservation and Restoration of the Astana Population in Kazakhstan, on which Natural State Reserve and Ecology were identified as the contractors.
